It’s no secret that breaking into the housing market for young Australians has been a running joke and sad reality for more than a few years now. Taking a phone call that changed the course of his life this afternoon, Oscar recieved the news that he won a luxury $1.9 Million home overlooking the Gold Coast Broadwater. The ticket number that changed it all? #6257229.

Oscar will soon receive the keys to a luxury double story Southport penthouse, fit for both family and friends with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and soaring ceilings for an elevated appeal.

To make this incredible prize even more lifechanging, first prize includes $10,000 gold. In addition as a $50 Champion Club member, he will also take home $60,000 gold - taking his gold winnings to a grand total of $70,000.

Oscar no doubt in disbelief at his incredible luck spoke to our staff at Surf Life Saving Foundation, “Oh, I don’t even know what to say. I’m so grateful. Thank you, you have honestly just made my life. I’m in Queensland all on my own away from my family. This is just once in a lifetime."

The next big decisions for Oscar will be having to look at changing his local Brisbane rugby club, to the one his Southport penthouse looks over. As well as telling his landlord he is going to have to break lease – but I’m sure he can now foot that bill when it comes.
