Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) is honoured to share exciting news and it’s thanks to our supporters like you. In RepTrak’s latest Charity and Not for Profit Reputation Report, SLSA achieved its highest reputation score ever: 94.9. With six consecutive SLSA scores above 90, Surf Life Saving is recognised as one of Australia's most trusted charities. 

This reflects the trust people across Australia place in Surf Life Saving and the belief you have in the lifesaving work happening on our beaches and across our communities every day.  

Your support is behind every patrol and every community response. You help ensure the red and yellow flags stay up across our beaches and that our volunteers are trained, equipped, and ready to protect people wherever they’re needed. 

The Q4 2025 results saw SLSA achieve a historically high reputation score of 94.9, a significant uplift of 4.4 points from the previous quarter. The survey measures public sentiment across key areas including respect, trust, admiration, and purpose.  

This result highlighted SLSA’s community impact, education programs, and strong public presence, reinforcing that Surf Life Saving is purpose‑driven, ethical, and delivering high‑quality services nationwide. Your generosity helps make that possible. 

Since its establishment in 1907, Surf Life Saving has grown to become an essential part of Australian culture and coastal communities, and these latest results demonstrate the enduring trust and support Australians have for SLSA.
