Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club (formerly North Caloundra Surf Life Saving Club) was established in 1950 and exists to provide a safe environment for the community and protect those recreating at Dicky Beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. For over 70 years our Club has proudly patrolled Dicky Beach with roving patrols to Currimundi and Moffat beaches. During this time no lives have been lost between the iconic red and yellow flags. Our volunteer Surf Lifesavers patrol our beaches every weekend, and public holidays between September and May and provide a vital community service which has become a strong, highly visible part of the Australian culture. Our dedication to providing the highest quality surf lifesaving services possible has resulted in a progressive, family friendly club culture and renowned reputation for education, training, junior development and surf sports participation.
